Day 1 Arrival in Jerusalem, Airport pick-up
Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up at the Tel Aviv Airport and then our driver will send you to the Grand Court Hotel. It takes about 1 hour. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2 Jerusalem Old City Tour
You wonderful Jerusalem to Petra tour starts today! You will meet our driver-guide at the hotel lobby and then we are going to visit Mount of Olives to enjoy a nice panoramic view of the city. The next spot is the Western Wall, a holy land of Jews. The Jerusalem Old City is divided into four parts: the Jewish Quarter, The Armenian Quarter, The Christian Quarter and The Muslim Quarter. Our driver-guide will lead you to visit the four districts as well as explore the well-known attractions such as the Holy Sepulcher Church and Al Aqsa Mosque. Later, we will head to Mt.Zion where you can see the Tomb of King David, Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey - the place of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary. While strolling around the markets in the old city, you could find the various handicrafts. When the visit is over, our driver-guide will send you back to the hotel.

Day 3 Jerusalem New City Tour & Bethlehem
Today we will first explore Yad VaShem to discover the miserable history of Jews. Then driven by the Knesset, Israel's Parliament Building, the Menorah, and the new home of Israel's Supreme Court, we will visit Israel's National Museum. The Dead Sea Scrolls and the model of the Second Temple collected in the Museum are highlights of today's Jerusalem to Petra tour. Then we will drive to Jesus's birth place - Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds' Field.

Day 4 Transfer to Eilat with visits to Qumran, Ein Gedi, Timna
After breakfast, we will drive south to Qumran where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered 2,000 years ago. Then we will continue to tour Ein Gedi Natural Reserve and Timna Valley National Park. The Timna National Park was actually a copper mine of Egyptians 6,500 years ago and the copper mine sites can still be seen today. The park has many strange stones and shows unique sandstone geology formed by erosion of wind and sand for many years. After the tour, we will go to a beautiful southern port city, Eilat and check in the local hotel.

Day 5 Border Crossing & Transfer to Aqaba
In the morning, we will travel across the Araba Border to Jordan. Our English-speaking driver will pick you up at Wadi Araba which is a southern port of Jordan and arrive at Wadi Rum after 1.5 hours' drive. An exciting desert jeep tour is waiting for you. While visiting, you will surely admire the towering, strangely shaped rocks standing in the vast red desert. With luck, we can also capture the footprints of camels, foxes and eagles. If weather permits, we can enjoy the extremely spectacular sunset on the desert. Stay overnight in the camp under the starry sky, which will be the most memorable experience of your Jerusalem to Petra tour.

Day 6 Private transfer from Wadi Rum to Petra
After enjoying breakfast, we will escort you to Petra which was the capital of Nabataean Kingdom. It takes about 1.5 hours. Petra featuring ancient buildings carved on the red rocks is definitely a highlight of your Petra tour from Jerusalem. It is widely known as a rose-red city half as old as time. We will ride horse from the entrance to the Siq, a 1-kilometer-long rock crack nearly 100 meters (328 feet) high. Then walk along the narrow serpentine path and head towards the Kazini Temple with magnificent colonnades and exquisite carvings at the city's central area. It is said that the temple was used to be the place where pirates hid treasures. The famous story of Alibaba and the forty thieves was originated from here. There are many other scenic spots scattered along the main streets including Royal Tombs, Roman Theater and Qasr al-Bin. You could visit with your own interest. We will stay at the hotel near Petra for one night.

Day 7 Little Petra and Dead sea
Your Petra tour from Jerusalem today will start with a visit to the Little Petra which is only 7 kilometers (1.3 miles) from Petra. It is also full of stone buildings similar to those in Petra. Although they are not as magnificent as Petra's, they are also very delicate in details. Afterwards, we will take a 3-hour drive to the Dead Sea and check in the hotel. We are not going to arrange any activities for you, but you can try the interesting floating on the Dead Sea and enjoy a leisurely time.

Day 8 Transfer from Dead Sea to Jerash, with Amman City Tour
After breakfast, our English-speaking driver will pick you up at the hotel on time and drive for about 1.5 hours to visit the famous Roman city ruins in Jerash. The ancient city was once regarded as Pompeii in the East and a copy of Rome. Its ancient architecture blends Greek, Roman and Arabic architectural features. The city site is quite large, so it is recommended to bring water and some snacks before visiting. Also, don’t forget the sunglasses and sunscreen to protect yourself. After visiting, we will drive to Amman and pay a visit to Castle Hill. Standing on the hill, we can overlook the Amman’s old city. A short visit to Umayyad Palace will draw an end to our Petra tour from Jerusalem. The palace built around 720AD features a magnificent domed Throne Hall. Afterwards, we will transfer you back to the hotel.
