Shanghai Ferry

The Huangpu River running through Shanghai, divides the city into two parts - Pudong New District (east of the river) and Puxi Area (west of the river). The three islands of Chongming, Changxing, and Hengsha under the jurisdiction of Shanghai are separated from the main by the Yangtze River. As a result, ferries play a very important role in the city's transportation.

It's different. You can take a ferry from Wusong Port to Hengsha Island quite conveniently. The slow ferry departs at 7:15, 13:30, 17:15 and takes 1.5 hours; the fast ferry departs at 7:00, 9:20, 10:30, 11:45, 12:45, 15:20 and takes 45 minutes for a single trip.

price of Shanghai Huangpu river sightseeing cruise
Hi! i have read in tripadvisor that the huangpu river cruise would cost around cny120 per person, while in this site it is stated that it would cost only around 12cny. can you tell me if there's a mistake here in the stated price; is this the same ferry sightseeing river cruise that these websites are referring to; or is there another ferry sightseeing line that cost only 12cny. For clarification please. Much thanks!

Actually, they are two kinds of boats for different purpose. CNY120/person is for sightseeing and CNY12/person is mainly for transportation while you can also see the view.

I haven't found the timetable from Wusongkou. But you can take a ferry from Baoyang Port, which has more ferries. The ferry operates from 6:00 to 17:30 every 40 mins and it takes about CNY20 per person.
