October Trip
Hello,

I and my family are travelling to Chengdu during 1st week of October this year. I would like to know, which of the panda research base would be closest to visit from Chengdu east station and how far would the Leshan Buddha site be from the same place.

I shall proceed with bookings accordingly. Can we take a taxi from Chengdu east station to Leshan Buddha site? If yes, how much would that cost?

As I know, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the closest panda base to Chengdu East Railway Station. From the railway station, you can walk about 550 meters to Qionglaishanlu middle station to take Panda Express bus line 4 to the panda base.

From Chengdu to Leshan Giant Buddha site, you need to reach Leshan first. Upon arrival at Chengdu East, you can transfer to a high-speed train to Leshan station. Then take bus 601 to the site.
