Day 1 Arrival in Yerevan, Airport Pick-up, Yerevan Walking Tour
Today your driver will wait you at the airport of Yerevan, holding a board with your name on. After picking you up, he/she will transfer you to your hotel to meet your private tour guide. Yerevan is the capital and cultural center of Armenia. In this city you can see various traditional buildings and different kinds of museums. Your guide will accompany you to stroll around to get a first impression of Armenia.

Day 2 Full Day Visit with Lake Sevan
Lake Sevan is the biggest alpine lake in Caucasus area. Summer is the most prosperous season here. Travelers come in group to escape the heatwave and refresh themselves. It is not only a place for nature lovers, but also a spot for culture fans. On its banks, several monasteries dated back to the medieval period are located. Today your guide will accompany you to visit Sevanavank Monastery, which still functions nowadays. Many believers visit it regularly. If lucky enough, you can hear the local people blow the traditional duduk nearby. Then we will drive to Dilijan, a hot spring town. It is reputed as “little Switzerland” and attracts lots of artists. We will have a lunch here to taste the authentic Armenia dishes.

After lunch, take a Gata making master class and learn to make the local snack Gata. Then we will drive to Haghartsin Monastery, which is far away from city area. Embraced by forest, it is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia. The next station is Goshavank Monastery, which played an important role in education and culture in history. Finally after visiting Lake Parz, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3 Travel to Tatev Monastery
Today’s tour will start with Noravank Monastery, a representative of 13th-14th century’s architecture. It is composed of 3 churches and a courtyard, and was inscribed on the UNESCO List in 1995. Then we will drive to Tatev village to visit Tatev Monastery. The village used to the economic, cultural, political center of Armenia. As the biggest university in this area, Tatev Monastery played an important role in education, religion, art and science. In addition to its historical role, Tatev Monastery is also famous for its scenery. It is located on the cliff edge and surrounded by mountains. The wide flat, where it is built, provides a magnificent mountain view. We will take the “Wings of Tatev” Ropeway from the mountain foot. It is the most beautiful route to get to the monastery. Along the way, you could see the colorful farmer houses and the wriggle Vorotan River. At last we will have a wine taste tour at Hin Areni Wine factory.

Day 4 Zvartnots Temple Exploration
After breakfast, we will go to Ejmiatsin, where we will visit the most famous three churches, named St. Hripsime Church, St. Gayane Church, and Mother Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin. Mother Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin was built after Christianity had become the state religion and symbolized the transformation of the belief. We will also visit the nearby “Treasures of Echmiadzin” Museum. Next, we will go to Zvartnots Temple, an architectural monument in Armenia, which presents the unique local style and is a good sample for native architects.

Day 5 Half Day Sightseeing to Garni Temple, Airport See-off
In the morning, we will drive to Garni Temple, the only preserved pagan temple in Armenia. The local Sun God is worshiped here. Through this Greco - Roman style temple, you will have a glance of the time before Christianity became the state religion. The nearby Geghard Monastery will also be included in this trip. Finally after visiting the Garni Canyon “Symphony of stones”, your driver will take you to the airport and see you off there. Wish you have enjoyed your time in Armenia with us.
